गीता सार

O Madhava!

Riches abound & infinite glory
Akin pinnacle of 'karmic' story.

Overwhelmed conscience & eternal praise
Yet why my soul drenched in malaise?

Encomiums galore & adulation kind
Still anguish rules my fractured mind.

Why heart aches? What for it longs?
Which melody more sweet than victory songs?

O Parth!

Triumph accompanies, but to your pyre
Wealth is evanescent, caught in karma's quagmire.

Frivolous pursuits in your worldly role
Aint the water for your thirsty soul.

Serve your brothers for that shall hold
The treasure more worthy than all riches & gold.

Banish the evil & shield the poor
From hunger, oppression & vicissitudes cruel.

Relinquish thy desires unto the divine
Than shall you taste the nectar sublime.

Wield your courage & let dubiety cease
And dive in the sea of perpetual peace.
